Caitlyn Blair is the Program Coordinator for the Northwest Straits Commission. Originally from the mountains of Colorado, she’s been a longtime admirer of the Salish Sea and all the human and non-human life it supports. Her work is driven by a passion for place-based education, marine ecology, and building meaningful, lasting relationships—and she rarely misses an opportunity for a good swim.

Before joining the Commission, Caitlyn worked in curriculum development and teaching for the Salish Sea Studies Minor at Western Washington University’s Salish Sea Institute. She’s excited to bring her love for this region and its communities into her role.
